Geolocalization of IP addresses

Since build 2025-02-20, the IP localization database includes Latitude and Longitude coordinates associated with IP addresses as well. This can be used for security reasons, but also by applications who want to give context-specific information (such as a map) based on where the user is located. In previous versions, only information about country, region and city was provided.

A tutorial repository called MyIp has been created illustrating how this information can be used. it displays information available about the IP address the user has, as seen by the Neuron®. It uses Open Street Maps to display a map around the area indicated by the IP location. You can test the page here: IP localization.
